40 North is dedicated to fueling the growth and well-being of Champaign County by nurturing its arts, culture, and education community. It is guided in this effort by three principal themes: Advocate, Inform and Collaborate.

The Craft League of Champaign-Urbana is an organization open to anyone interested in promoting knowledge and appreciation of art and fine craft in the community. In addition to developing public awareness of the arts, the League encourages the exchange of information and ideas among local artists.

The Urbana Arts & Culture Program (formerly Public Arts Program) and Commission was established by the City Council in April 2008, to foster a city where all residents may engage with the arts and where artists thrive and are valued. 

Urbana’s Market at the Square is a vibrant market that connects the community with local food growers and producers, strengthens our local food economy, provides access to local artisans, and serves as a community gathering place.
